Sydney is a Registered Behaviour Analyst (Ont.) who has been working in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) for 8 years. Her undergraduate degree is in Child Health from Brock University, she completed the Autism and Behaviour Science diploma at Fanshawe College, and she has a Masters of Professional Education in ABA from the University of Western Ontario. Sydney has previously worked as a supervisor and as a consultant in home- and community-based services. Most recently, she is working as a Behaviour Analyst for a school board. In this role, she not only conducts assessments and implements interventions with students, but she also develops and delivers professional development trainings to a wide range of educational staff. She is passionate about empowering educators to utilize ABA strategies to improve educational and social outcomes for all students.
This is Sydney’s second year as a Board member, and her second year co-chairing ONTABA’s Conference and Events Committee. Prior to her involvement at the Board-level, Sydney was a dedicated committee member with ONTABA for 2 years, volunteering for both the Advocacy and Communications Committee and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
